DECORATIVE PAINT IN AQUEOUS DISPERSION FOR BITUMINOUS WATERPROOFING WITH HIGH SOLAR REFLECTANCE. INDECOLOR COOL REFLEX and common coloured paints (see table), with consistent energy savings for air conditioning buildings. In fact, the high reflectance significantly reduces the heat absorbed from the sun’s rays compared to a dark surface; consequently there is a remarkable reduction in temperature and therefore consistent energy savings for air conditioning buildings. The high emissivity also promotes dissipation of the heat accumulated during the night. Temperatures comparable to the aluminium based paints commonly used for decorating bituminous coverings are obtained. Moreover, when the product is applied on slatecoated membranes, it protects and fixes slates on their surfaces, avoiding detachment and increasing duration.
