In parking roofs without thermal insulation, for an easier identification of any leaks and to reduce the load, it is best to stick the waterproof covering onto the concrete laying surface with total adhesion; in this case, if the support is still wet and remains exposed to the sun, steam bubbles may form under the waterproofing. To avoid this problem, it is necessary to lay the covering on a dry support and cover it as soon as possible to avoid leaving it exposed for any length of time. In case of preference given to the ease of dismantling the system or if the laying of the paving is deferred too much over time, the dry laying of the first layer of the waterproof systems indicated below may be opted for. In this case to facilitate the detection of any leaks it is worth compartmentalising the surface of the cover for areas of 100÷200 m² with strips heat-bonded with complete adhesion.
